Terms and Conditions for Use of Share Spaces and Event Space

By booking and using any of the spaces offered by Ryley Jewellery Creations under the Ryley Co. service, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to ensure the safety, comfort, and productivity of all users of our facilities.

General Terms and Conditions

  1. Service Agreement
    By booking a space, you are entering into a service agreement with Ryley Jewellery Creations under the Ryley Co. service.

  2. Payment and Booking Confirmation

    a) Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

    b) Bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed via email.

  3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

    a) Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the booking date will receive a full refund.

    b) Cancellations made 2-7 days prior will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

    c) No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking.

    d) Changes to booking dates may be accommodated depending on availability and must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.

  4. Amenities and Facilities Policies

    a) Guests must bring their own devices for use in the space.

    b) Access to high-speed internet will be provided upon arrival.

    c) Amenities, including tea, coffee, printing, and kitchen facilities, are included as specified for your booked space.

    d) Guests must adhere to operating hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday for share spaces; specific times for event space).

  5. Quietness and Professionalism

    All spaces are shared or in close proximity to other users and businesses. Guests must maintain a quiet and professional environment at all times.

    Policies for Co-Working Space

  6. Privacy

    Respect the privacy of other users and businesses operating within the co-working space. Sharing of confidential information overheard during your booking is strictly prohibited.

  7. Quietness and Professionalism

    a) Maintain a quiet and focused environment. Conversations, phone calls, and meetings should be conducted with discretion.

    b) Use headphones for any audio.

  8. Monthly Hire Policies

    a) Parking Spot: The underground parking spot allocated to monthly hirers is for personal use only and must not be shared.

    b) Onsite Pool and Gym: Access to these facilities is limited to booking days only and must adhere to the venue’s rules and regulations.

    c) Signage: No window signage may be placed in downstairs windows. However, a business card and small sign may be left at the front desk for visibility.



    Policies for Conference Room

  9. Privacy

    a) Guests must respect the privacy of other businesses operating in the building.

    b) Any information overheard or shared during your booking is to remain confidential.

  10. Quietness and Professionalism

    The conference room is a shared professional environment. Noise must be kept to a minimum, and disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.



    Policies for Whisky Lounge

  11. Privacy

    a) Respect the privacy of other users and businesses in the space.

    b) Sharing of confidential information overheard in the lounge is prohibited.

  12. Quietness and Professionalism

    Maintain a quiet and respectful environment to ensure all users can enjoy the space.

    Policies for Event Space

  13. Usage

    a) The event space accommodates up to 50 people and includes access to the downstairs studio and Whisky Lounge.

    b) Access to the workshop and back areas is strictly prohibited, and these doors will remain locked during the event.

  14. Cleaning and Damages

    a) A cleaning fee of $150 will be charged if the space is not left in its original condition.

    b) Guests are responsible for any damages to the space, furniture, or equipment during their booking.

  15. Noise and Disruption

    a) Events must adhere to the following times: No earlier than 8:00 AM and no later than 9:00 PM.

    b) Noise levels must be kept reasonable, and any complaints from neighbouring businesses or residents may result in the termination of your booking.

    c) Guests must not disrupt the Kwong Sang Walkway or interfere with other businesses operating in the area.

  16. Health and Safety

    a) Guests must adhere to health and safety regulations regarding the stairs and balcony areas.

    b) Alcohol consumption is at the discretion of the booking holder. The booking holder is fully liable for any incidents or complaints related to alcohol consumption. Ryley Jewellery Creations absolves all liability in these matters.

  17. Food and Beverage

    a) Guests must supply their own food and beverages for the event.

    b) Smoking and vaping are permitted in the walkway only and strictly prohibited inside the venue.

  18. Bathroom Access

    a) Bathroom access is available through The Oaks Hotel reception via the café door (press green button) and is located through the first doors on the right. Guests must exit the same way.

  19. Signage and Displays

    a) Permanent displays on walls are not permitted.

    b) Temporary decorations must be approved prior to the event and must not cause damage to the space.

  20. Parking Policy for Event Space

    a) Underground Parking Allocation: The booking holder is allocated one underground parking space for the day of their event. To gain access to the parking spot, the booking holder must submit their vehicle registration plate details to Ryley Jewellery Creations prior to the event date.

    b) Event Attendee Parking: Event attendees are encouraged to utilise the Annand Street parking lot or available street parking in the surrounding area. Attendees must follow all local parking regulations.

    c) Ryley Jewellery Creations is not responsible for any parking fines or disputes related to attendee parking.

Liability

  • Ryley Jewellery Creations is not liable for any injuries, incidents, or damages that occur during your booking.

  • The booking holder assumes full responsibility for the behaviour of their guests and any issues arising during the booking.

Final Agreement

By proceeding with your booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these policies may result in the cancellation of your booking without refund.
